Hi Graham, you'll have to edit the styles of those headings on your homepage. Since the blog title on your homepage are now h2 instead h1 headings, they'll be styled differently.

I usually add a class to my <body> tag on the homepage template and/or the single posts/pages template to differentiate the two. Then I can adjust the css accordingly.

Really good, just have one problem. Now i've implemented the Blog Title looks funny on my home page. Everywhere else (post, pages etc) the Blog title looks fine, but on homepage it isn't the same.

thanks

Hi, we've just written a plugin to fix the problem of the H2's and H3's being out of sync - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/seo-friendly-and-html-valid-subheadings/

One thing I want to point as I was implementing your CSS suggestions.

The span#blogTitle needs display:block;
font-weight:bold;
and same font family to replicate the the H1 exactly in the span tag.

I'm not sure if it is a good idea to have two H1 tags on a single page. the best would be to have only one H1..

I have thought of different solutions, but never found a good solution...
How would you solve the problem with having only one H1 (the title of the page, not the blogs title) tag on a single page?
