Microsoft is offering a free download of Windows 7 RC. This is a time-limited version that will become unusable in 2010 on March 1st, but until then, you can find out what the newest version of Windows is going to be like. Keep in mind, this is a release candidate, meaning its supposed to be more stable than “Beta,” but I wouldn’t use it on a critical system.

I am downloading this now looks like its gonna take about an hour. Have you used Win 7 yet?
I haven’t had a chance to mess around with Windows 7 yet. It’s not really a priority, although I’m dying to see how it compares to Vista.
