When I started this site I wanted the tutorials to be high quality lessons and I didn’t want to, for lack of a better word, pollute the tutorials section by adding a bunch of fluff that I just felt like posting at any given point in time. So, up to this point I’ve been fine with that, but I’ve decided to add a blog section to post whatever random things I feel like posting.
The blog will certainly have the same WordPress focus the rest of this site has, but it’ll be a place to generate some current discussions as well as a place where I can keep everyone updated on the status of my theme releases and whatever else I have going on.
I’m also thinking about adding a section to the site where I can cover some PHP-specific (and not necessarily WordPress-specific) topics. I’m still tossing this idea around and havn’t decided yet. Let me know what you think on this? Would you like to see some PHP topics covered here that may not be directly related to WordPress? Or would you prefer I stick to WordPress topics?
Moving Across the Country
I recently moved across the country, which is why I haven’t had a chance to respond to some of the questions/comments over the past several days. I’m just about settled in and used to the time change (which really threw me off), so I’ll be getting to your questions shortly.
This Just In!
This Just In! has been launched on thousands of different blogs since I released the theme a few months ago and I’m really excited to see how much everyone likes it since I put so much work into it.
I’m currently working on an elastic-width version of the theme…it’ll be the exact same theme, but roughly 95% of screen resolution width. I’ll also release an updated fixed-width version at the same time since there are some small issues that need to be tweaked on that.
