Copy and Paste Code Syntax Highlighting

For a while now there’s been some trouble with copying and pasting the code snippets shown in the tutorials on this site because the plugin I was using to color the code and make it more readable was also replacing single quotes with something else.

Well, good news, I’ve replaced that plugin (and I’ve gone through every post to change the tags accordingly) and the new plugin offers a great new way to copy and paste. Just click the “View plain” link at the top of any code box to view the plain text version or you can click the “Copy to clipboard” link to copy the code straight to your clipboard for pasting wherever you want.

The only issue we may run into is that some of the code may be jacked up because I had to go in and edit each post, which means I had to contend with WordPress replacing certain characters that happens whenever you edit a post with certain special characters in it. So, if I missed any single character that was changed, the code may be jacked up, so please, if you find a problem, let me know so I can make sure it gets cleaned up.

Other than that, enjoy!
