John, thanks so much for this one. I searched high and low trying to figure out why the Evermore plugin wasn't working with my new theme. Once I tried this, I got it working.

It seems that the last posts here on the subject are 9 months old. Is there any new information on this?

Thanks... Dan

I meant, I can display the variable content passed in query string, but the process of lookup category content seems begun before wp render / call the page template. Do you have any solution to this?

What is your wp version? I tried in wp 2.9.1 and it doesnt work. I guess the plugin I used in the page template need the query string catched and processed before it renders the page template.

Hey Kyle, your best bet is to just hard code the homepage link in just before the code to pull in the rest of the nav.

Hey John,
Thanks for the explanation and great theme.
But now i have what may be a very simple question.
I have the navigation tabs i need made for my pages, but now the "home" tab has dissappeared.
Since my home page is my blog, i cant figure a way to put the custom tag on it to make it a tab.

Any advice?

EE2.0 could be good...I haven't tried it yet, but it's built on CodeIgniter, which I like for the most part. Hopefully they'll address some of the issues I had with 1.x
